Privacy policy

AX Cloud Drive is operated by Huntbits, a trading name of Parameswaran Venkateswaran (sole proprietor), Erode, Tamil Nadu, India (GSTIN 33AGBPV8708P1ZQ). Contact: privacy@huntbits.com. Your Huntbits account itself is covered by the Huntbits privacy policy.
What we keep
- Account: your Huntbits player ID, display name and e-mail address (from Huntbits sign-in), your plan and storage use.
- Your files: the files you upload, their names, folders and dates, stored with our storage providers. We do not look at your files except to provide the service (for example making thumbnails and previews, or checking shared files for malware).
- Vault and Vault 2: files are encrypted on your device before upload; we cannot read them.
- Faces (optional, off by default): if you turn it on, faces in your photos are grouped on our server. Turning it off deletes all face data.
- Sharing: links you create, and the e-mail addresses you share with.
- Purchases: which plan you have and its renewal date. Card and payment details are handled by Paddle (website) or Google Play (app); we never see them.
- Technical logs: IP address and request logs for security and to keep the service running, kept for a limited time.
Ads
The free plan shows ads in the Android app through Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID as described in Google's policies. Paid plans and AX Ecosystem have no ads. The website shows no ads.
Who we share with
- Storage and hosting providers that store your files and run our servers.
- Huntbits, for sign-in, AX Points and AX Ecosystem.
- Paddle and Google Play, for payments.
- Google AdMob, for ads on the free plan in the app.
We do not sell your personal data.
Your choices
You can download or delete your files at any time, and ask us to delete your account and data by writing to privacy@huntbits.com. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (access, correction, deletion, objection), which you can use the same way.
Changes
We will update this page if what we do changes, and tell you in the app for important changes.
